In case you are not aware the Royalty Soapie Awards are back, The Nominees Party took place at The Venue in Melrose Arch Thursday nicely hosted by Donavan David Goliath (Xhosa) alongside Jason Goliath. I really enjoyed these two as MCeez their chemistry on stage is tops, I hope they will be host at the main event as well. The proceedings started on time, Charles Mabaso from the KZN Department of Arts and Culture gave us a few words before the list of Nominees was announced after that we partied. A bummer though was for the bar to be closed from being open-bar to cash by 10 o clock…like who does that ka 2015 mara? #SMH

Nomzamo Mbatha and Jessica Nkosi’s friendship left with the Khaya Mthethwa wind. I was with Jessica at the back when Nomzamo walked in with Mampho, Vusi and Celeste, Jessica qinisad her head akabheka nokubheka usistaz as if she didn’t hear them come… My free advice to these lovely ladies is; try find a way to resolve this isht bosisi because it is putting your other cast members/friends at uneasy situations… Celeste, Vusi and Mampho had to “steal” moments to come greet Jessica FOR THE WHAT? Please STOP being childish, STOP IT! I say. A part of me is struggling to understand why would these beautiful ladies fight over Khaya, what’s so special about him…maybe he is a good chip fryer/ chopper, I would have to ask them next time.
With New BFF, My fave actress Mampho…now I wonder if Terry Pheto was at the event what would Nomzamo had done because we all know Mampho and Terry are tight like chewing gum on hair at events. We can only hope for Mampho to BEEF with Terry maybe N and M could work. Just_saying
*takes a deep sigh* I cant begin to express my disappointment on Winnie’s dress code. From the hair…who still does razor cut bethuna? I thought we left those in 99 not to mention the “Matric Dance” dress, I want to forgive her for the shoes but they are also a mess. Three words from me to you my love FIRE YOUR STYLIST!…that is if you have one.
