Confession. I love me some ratchet TV and two of my fave shows have to be RHOA and Love & Hip-Hop Hollywood, they are very entertaining. I still cannot phantom how people would actually act a fool on a regular as some of these people do but then again we all would do too much for a paycheck and some fame, yes/no?
We all know that The Real Housewives of Atlanta are coming back for the 8th season and you will never guess who’s coming to join the new cast.
First we have Sheree Whitfield, one of the original housewives who was kicked out of the show because she got “boring” aka “wasn’t liked by Nene Leakes”. I cannot wait cause Sheree was the dish it girl, she says it like she means it and is not afraid to stand up to anyone and check and trick when she needs to. Definitely a great addition.
Kim Fields is also rumoured to be joining, however there has been a lot of denial with regards to this but then again where there’s smoke there’s fire. I sort of do not get why she is joining the cast though, she is an accomplished and respected actress in the black community and you would think that reality tv, more so RHOA would be too low for her but no. As I mentioned before we all do a lot for a healthy paycheck.
Marlo Hampton aka Phuza voice is also joining the cast once more as a friend to the wives. She’s a fire cracker and an ishhh starter so I am definitely excited to see what she comes up with this season. I do wish they could just make her an official housewives, I mean someone these tricks are as boring as pastor’s robe (coughs), Phaedra.
There’s also a new chick joining and she seems to be the new wildcard to challenge Kenya. She’s a transgender model and this ought to be interesting, not based on her gender/sex but on how the shade will be thrown by the other ladies. We know that they used to call Nene Leakes, Nathan so let’s see how this unfolds.
Over at one of the Love and Hip Hop Hollywood side things are already heating up with new male member who’s a “rapper”. The newcomer guy, Milan Christopher has been doing press rounds saying that other guys on the show do not want to film with him because he is an open gay male.
I am not sure hey, of course rap music is very macho and not forgiving in that way but also with the pictures that I have seen of this guy, I think he might be a little too extra that other cast members want to make sure that they do not give him the opportunity to act a fool and make them look like a fool in the process. The jury is out on this one. I am not sure, but all i know is that the below pic is #teamtoomuch as Tamar Braxton would say.
Still on LAHHH, the reason why I watch the show, the crazy Teairra Mari was recently arrested for for assaulting an Uber driver because he wouldn’t give her his iPhone charger. LOL! This girl needs serious anger management classes or therapy or whatever it is. She has a tempter that scares even the devil out of the room. Can you believe that once upon a time, (it’s been that long since she was relevant) she, Rihanna and Amerie did a Destiny’s Child tribute performance and she was made Beyonce because she came across as the most talented of the three, look at her now. I will say though, sad as it is she is still entertaining as hell.
