Our Baba is always in trouble somehow. We have freedom of speech in Mzansi and people are really making sure that they use it. They are not afraid of anything or anyone.
Rewind to a few years ago when a painting showing President Zuma’s spear was all over the place. Now, we are back at one with artist Ayanda Mabulu painting the president in another light. You can view the full image HERE by following the link on News24.
This has caused an outrage and most people are disgusted by the painting saying it’s disrespectful and it degrades women. The ruling party’s Spokesperson Zizi Kodwa says; “Ayanda can express his views about the direction of the country, express the same views, but in a more respectful way. You don’t need to use vulgarity to stress your unhappiness, your feelings about the things you don’t like. You don’t need to depict the president in that manner to show how much you don’t like him.”
Ayanda is standing his ground “I am talking about being f*cked. We are being f*cked by parliamentarians, we are being molested,” he said.
He has been asked to apologise. So what do you think of this? Do you think he took it too far and owes the President and women an apology?
