When Sunday strikes just know Week-end is gone and Monday is just a sleep away…
I will start off with my favourite thing on TV today, SA Idols, the theme for this Week is NOW versus the Nineties! I’m an eighties baby and the Nineties and Now I could adequately relate to. In alphabetical order here is what they will be singing for us

Amanda will be singing Mary J Blige’s “I’m Goin’ Down” for her Nineties and Sia’s “Big Girls Cry” for her current. I soooooo wish she can just relax and sing out her lungs with a bit of an oomph, lawd know Mmatema needs a good confident vocalist to show her what singing is. #Ndiyadlala.

Eish I can’t help but feel sorry for our little Miss Dynamite Dineo. She chose to sing Lauryn Hill’s “Ex-Factor” for her nineties, which is one of my favourite songs and Beatenberg’s “Rafael” for current. I can’t envision her giving a a good rendition Ex-factor askies I’m sorry.

Ubhuti wase Mbombela, chose to sing a classic from one of my all the time favourite bands Boys II Men, with one of my late brothers favourite “Water Runs Dry” for his nineties theme and he selected Hozier’s “Someone New” for Now.

Loyiso also chose to sing Boys II Men’s “It’s so hard to say goodbye to yesterday” followed by “Hold Back The River”, by James Bay.

u-Girl is going to murder Deborah Cox’s “nobody’s suppose to be here” that she chose for her nineties followed by Jess Glynne’s hit, “Hold My Hand”.

Mr shy guy chose to sing Radiohead’s “High And Dry” for his nineties And his current selection is One Republic’s “Counting Stars”.

Siphelele went for All 4 One hit “I Can Love You Like That” and with a vernac choice as usual for his current song: Nathi’s “Nomvula”… he will ensure he stays in this competition with this song and I know in my heart he will break it to pieces… okay maybe into pieces if he doesn’t try to articulate his Xhosa but if he does he will KILL IT.
One of them will not get to perform…so who did you vote for?

Randall, is one of the people I would like to chat with or maybe share a room with if he doesn’t want to talk just to observe him and the way he carries himself…just nje.

This guy neh rocks my world like literally.LOL. King Gareth, is one of the white citizens that encompasses uBuntu like a South African should. Ewe he is not easily approachable but once you speak with him sense he will pay attention to you. #LoveLoveLoveHim

In this week’s episode of Our Perfect Wedding, we meet Mabatho Mokoena (40) and Vusi Maseko (45). Both Vusi and Mmabatho were not looking for love because they had just come out of relationships. Vusi first saw Mabatho in a bus and was not impressed with her, because according to him, she looked very unkempt and he thought that she was a bit too loud. The next day when she got in the bus, Vusi was taken aback because she looked different and this time he was impressed, she looked stunning and he made sure that he sat next to her. However, for Mmabotho, she really didn’t find Vusi attractive although she ended up giving him her phone number. Vusi eventually managed to capture her heart because she felt that he was not like most guys, he genuinely cared about her. One challenge that they faced was interfering exes and adult children who could not accept their relationship. They have made it through these odds and are now tying the knot. Will this be their perfect wedding?
DATE MY FAMILY season 1 is finished and klaar.
