Forbes is out with their annual list of the highest paid and you will not believe who is topping the list.

Katy Perry sits put in number one with $135 million over the past year made through her endorsement deals (Covergirl, COTY, Claire’s), singles and world tour. It seems like Katy’s beef with Taylor Swift did not affect her bottom line which is great, there’s a lot of space in the world more than two pop stars.

Speaking of Taylor Swift, she sits on the 2nd spot with $80 million over the past year. Taylor’s 1989 World Tour helped claim the number two spot. 1989 also sold 3.6 million copies in the US alone. Not too bad for a girl in her early 20’s.

The third position belongs to the legendary women of Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie with a cool $59.5 million from their On With The Show tour which earned them $1 million per city.

Lady Gaga claimed the 4th position with $59 million. Gaga’s earnings come from her 66 shows played over the past year and her deals with MAC cosmetics and the house of Versace.

Beyonce closes the top 5 with total earnings of $54.5 million.

The rest of the top 10 includes:

Britney Spears grossing $31 million thanks to her endorsement deals and her Vegas residency show.

Jennifer Lopez represents the Latina’s with $28.5 million.

Country star Miranda Lambert ties with JLo with $28.5 million. I have to say this one was little surprise for me.

Mariah Carey proves she’s a diva with staying power with total earnings of $27 million.

Rihanna is not only a bad girl, she’s also a boss girl. Riri rounds up the top 10 with $26 million.

Looking at this million dollar girls I’m starting to think I might have missed my calling. Also are these earnings gross or net? We do know that after paying agents, production, business managers, investors etc the figure might not be that high.

Your Thoughts?
