This weekend was just action packed with good things. I attended the BET Experience Africa and it was ALL things amazing. Can we just have a moment of silence for the QUEEN, Mary J Blige for giving us nothing but the best. I will share more about the event on another post…..for now let’s come back to our reality.
Last week Msholozi shocked us by kicking our Minister of Finance to the curb. This got everyone talking, mostly negatively about Jacob Zuma. Apparently the Cabinet didn’t even know about Nhlanhla Nene’s ‘firing’ either. Then the Rand dropped, honestly if things don’t change soon, we are heading for disaster stru.
Sunday Sun
Some of us love, love and happy endings. Noeleen Maholwana-Sangqu’s marriage of 23years is on the rocks again. Sunday Sun reports that Noeleen’s husband Andile has moved out of their home. Both Noeleen and Andile are denying this. They say they are still together. So where exactly did this come from? SS says there is also a woman that’s been harassing Noeleen over the phone. Bathi this person calls at odd hours and sometimes doesn’t talk…she just does that heavy breathing sound. I ask again; Where is this coming from? Sunday Sun sources are obviously too close to The Sangqus. One source even has a nerve to say, she/he wishes them well and that they must sort things out. Really?? So if they are that much concerned about the couple then why are they talking to the media about it? Maybe in a couple weeks we will read about Sunday Sun being reprimanded for this article like they did with the Uyanda and Wonda one. Sigh!
Aaaaaaaww, Lucas Radebe is said to be getting married this month. If you remember, Rhoo lost his wife Feziwe, 7years ago to breast cancer. Now he is ready to start a new life. We wish him well. Surely, nobody wants to grow old alone. So if you get another chance in love, go for it.
Lol, Zola is at war with his neighbour Dominique le Grange. Dominique says Zola’s noise is just too much for her. She’s tried to ask him to tone it down with no luck, even the cops haven’t helped. She says Zola is a mess, she can’t even start a family because of him and his noise. Zola told SS that Dominique once threw stones on top of his roof. *elahla izandla*
In case you missed it; Actress Manaka Ranaka was recently involved in a fatal accident that killed an 18year old girl. She told SS that she is not in a good space, and it will take time to heal. She has visited the girl’s family to apologise and they accepted her apology. Now she is in the process to heal and also help the girl’s mother throughout her healing process. According to SS, Manaka was given permission to attend the girl’s memorial service and funeral but she requested not to attend because she said she didn’t want to end up being the centre of attention. Somehow I feel her on this decision. I’ve witnessed situations where family members (celebs) are mourning and then it ends up being about fans asking them to pose for pictures with them. Wrong place and wrong time but still celebs are expected to smile and pose no matter how hurting they are. It’s unfair. Anyway, I’m just glad that the family forgave Manaka. That surely means a lot to her. I just want to know why SS kept on referring to Manaka as Lucy? This is not some storyline on Generations hle…this is real life.
For some strange reason I had a TJO moment when I read that Bonang Matheba is now under Phumza Nohashe. Phumza used to be with Minnie Dlamini. Bonang has been with DNA management for a long time and it seems she worked well with them, so her jumping ship to Brand Three Sixty Communications is kinda unexpected. But she seems happy with the move and she says she has been watching their work ethic and that’s the direction she’s heading.
Sunday World
I was never ready for Deborah Fraser shem. LMAO!!! This story on SW somehow reminded/confirmed stuff about Deborah. I’ve always said she looks like a mean/harsh/unfriendly person. If what SW is reporting is true then I was right. Apparently her tenant passed away but she’s been refusing to give her family her stuff until they pay her R59 000. She says the deceased was in arrears ka rent. She also asked for a goat and told the family to get a Sangoma to cleanse her house first.
Kwaaaaaaaaaaaaa at her response to SW. LMFAO!! I can just picture her saying all of that with a straight face futhi. Then rolls her eyes and moves her lips in that ‘phew’ tip. Tltltltltl *cues Abanye Bayombona*
Another crazy story is that of actress Busi Lurayi. Bathi she cleaned out her ex boyfriend’s crip and left with goods worth R200 000. The guy laid charges and she was arrested and granted bail a couple of days later. Shame, for all you know she contributed in buying the stuff in that guy’s house. If this was a Vat n Sit situation, obviously she contributed in that house. Men are selfish sometimes shem. After months or years of contributing in the house one way or another, you are expected to walk out empty handed. SMH!
Solly Moholo means business right now. He wrote a letter to the president asking him to force the Senior ANC members that owe him money to pay up. He says he is owed R135K for his services he was hired by the ruling party for but a year later still no payment. He is upset because he says his band members assume he got paid and chowed the money kante nix….Solly says he also asked Jeff Radebe to step in and assist so that he gets his money.
David Masondo’s sons are still at it. Still fighting over their father’s house. Now his wife/widow is also involved. Sigh!!
Yhuuuuuuu! Kushubile eSoulistic Music. Not so long ago, Culoe left and now it’s DJ Shimza. Apparently Black Coffee is all about himself. He never bothers to market or promote his artists. They end up being forced to do the running around for themselves. Shimza says Black Coffee has dirty tricks. I mean, why sign people if you ain’t got time for them tho? If this is true then Nathi and your team nirongo.
Bathong!!! Mme Tu Nokwe done shocked me. She is crying over milk that was spilled more than 2 decades ago? Is she serious? She says Mbongeni and Leleti stole Sarafina from her, and they were having an affair behind her back. Tu says Leleti was raised by her parents. ‘My father and her father had an agreement that if one of them passed away, one would adopt the other’s kids and take care of them. That is exactly what happened. Leleti is like my young sister. She was about 9years old when her father passed away. I was disappointed to learn that they were dating and ended up married.‘ Blah blah blah…..hai shem. It’s too late to be crying now let alone going to the media about this. Leleti is now happily married with kids. Surely that Mbongeni chapter is closed in her life.
And I remember watching an Interview where she spoke openly about her relationship with Mbongeni. She admitted she was young then, naïve, in love and that it was a mistake from the beginning. So what must happen now because Leleti owned up to her flaws? Honestly we all have a past. If you come to me about sh*t I did when I was a teenager then I wouldn’t help you either. The confusing part is that Tu turned around and said she loves Leleti. She says she has forgiven her even though she’s never apologized. This is where I stopped reading this. Why are we reading about this if she’s forgiven her??? Kaloku you can’t put conditions on forgiveness. Gerara here…
Misleading headlines annoy me to the core. You see that Boity and Samkelo headline? All I can say is Mxxxxxim @ Move. You’d think Boity and Samu were fighting for Nyovest kante lutho, this is about music qha. Apparently during Ekasi Tours, a lot of people were playing music from their phones. uBoity kept on playing Cassper’s songs and uSamkelo got annoyed and played AKA’s Composure. And that’s when all hell broke loose. Bathi the fight moved from verbal to physical. Looking at this, it means no one is allowed to play an AKA song when Boity is around mos? Yhuuuuuuuu!! Yinde lendlela.
We end things here for now. Feel free to share more news with us.
Have a great week.
