Well Well…..we are slowly getting back to our normal selves. But my mind is still on holiday. I miss waking up at 10am, and I am not looking forward to the traffic problems heading our way from next week. Sigh!

Destiny
Rich people yessssss but this cover is so dull. I feel like it’s some Club magazine. Hai khona Destiny. This is not how you start the year.
Destiny Man
They decided to take us overseas this month and brought us Dr Dre. Simple cover, nothing WOW!!! I’m see Kabelo Mabalane is also featured and I am just wondering how he would have looked if he was made the cover guy instead of Dre.
Bona
Bona is on a roll still. Look at this cover girl. Everything is on point. The colours, the outfit….it all works!

Living and Loving
Ncooooooo, Elana and her bambino on Living and Loving. It’s a busy one but in a very classy way.

From Khanyi Mbau to Ausi Bassie is what TL is giving us. Love the colours but angikho sho ngala pose. She looks uncomfortable. The neck is going the opposite direction to her head.

Our girl LootLove gracing the TL Hair cover. Well, this is supposed to be a hair magazine but we don’t see the hair properly. It’s covered by words. Couldn’t they move the words down a bit?
Cosmopolitan
Model, Jessica looking very model on this cover. Do you see the neck and head going together? Look at Ausi Bassie’s one. I love this cover, it’s fresh…it’s Summer.
Fair Lady
Ms Roberts is on Fair Lady. Not too bad at all but it’s a bit too white. Maybe they should have featured her in a different colour outfit.

Your Pregnancy
Not sure who this lady is but I have a few questions. Is this pregnancy for real or they took a model and gave her a belly? She looks too skinny to be preggies. Where are the boobs? Ok, maybe she is one of those that don’t change at all during pregnancy.
This is what the January covers look like. I am not impressed this time. Somehow it feels like it was a rushed job. They were just doing it to push the envelopes, their minds were already on holiday. They should have done what Essays and Mamas Papas did (have a Dec & Jan copy combined) because only Bona stole my heart this time. The rest are just OK.
