To finally push T.L.O.P (Ye’s re-titled album) Kanye bagged an SNL performance and man did he pull out all the stops from Kelly Price to El de Barge to Kirk Franklin. And that wasn’t all in one of the songs Kanye referenced Ray J’s “I Hit It First” – in which he sand about how Ray J hit it first but the difference is that he’s rich. Yho the disrespect?! Kim needs to call this man to order, how can your husband and the father of children sing such nonsense? Granted it is true but some things are just better left unsaid.
Kanye’s friend and collaborator Rhymefest took it to Twitter to explain to a few curious fans why he wasn’t writing for Kanye anymore. In as much as I love his honesty if he claims to be one of his “good friends”not the “yes man”that Kanye has surrounded himself with why did he resort to Twitter to say that he thought Kanye needed help mentally and spiritually. I am sure there are means of communication that he could have used other than Twitter. What happened to just addressing things with people and not just throwing them on social media then wonder why those particular relationships are not working? In his series of tweets Rhymefest also informed a fan to “peep” his Grammy nomination – okay I think I get it now, he’s trying to sell/promote something off Kanye’s back – some kind of friends.
Ye’s wife, Kim Kardashian has gone back to blonde – I reckon it’s a wig and thank God cause it’s awful, what is she wearing anyways? I swear Kanye’s control over Kim’s wardrobe cannot be healthy. All of this Yeezy season 3 mess is just glamourous garbage, literally.
Still on Kanye, he has gotten under fire (as usual) for his song Famous where he raps, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why, I made that bitch famous / God damn / I made that bitch famous.” Oh Kanye what are we gonna do with you? Taylor’s brother went to IG and posted a video of himself throwing away some pairs of Yeezy’s and then Ye’ took to twitter and explained that he asked Taylor if it was okay to use that line and that he respects her and also that Kim was okay with it – sigh! well turns out that wasn’t true because Taylor’s camp later released a statement refuting that. If Kim was really cool with this, this is more messed up than Mshoza’s quest to be white.
Lil Kim calso came under fire after she posted a selfie of herself and Kim Kardashian at Kanye’s Yeezy season 3 show. Lil Kim and Kim posted the exact picture on social media however Lil Kim went way over board with the filters on hers and the internet trolls did not appreciate how she wanted to be “white”so much. Okay I think this is a broken record at this stage but also Lil’Kim should use the filters sparingly. Anyway she took to her IG page to explain herself (above) – do you agree?
That Rihanna reign just wont let up, on the heels of her smash hit album ANTI Rihanna stroke while the iron was hot with the official launch pf her Fenty X Puma street wear collection. It’s sporty meets gothic and so not my cup of tea but I ha[[y for Riri, she is making strides. Rih also called up on model siblings, Gigi and Bella Hadid to head the runway – I see how she’s marketing this whole thing. We all know that these Hadid girls have become sensations with the young kids and their endorsement of cool does carry some weight but then again which endorsement of cool is cooler than Rihanna’s?
I am happy to report that two Queens were spotted slaying together. A rare picture but Bey and Mimi attended a charity show in LA last week and they snapped it up and caught up I guess on Formation, the billionaire’s courting skills amongst other things. I have to say Mariah looks good, she upstaged Bey is that picture, then again darling she is the original diva.
