Oh wow, I feel like I’ve been out of it forever. Shout out to my JC fam for keeping things going. It feels good to be back and to catch up on what’s been happening even though it will take some time considering the world doesn’t stop when we are out of touch. From Cassper Nyovest revealing the millions he made last year, to Tbo Touch’s happy moments about his R1million+ bottle of wine, to the Guptas and the Zuma drama. As we speak, this week our Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan will be announcing the budget. I’m sure we are all sitting with our seat belts on waiting for that moment.

Anyway, let’s take a look at what the weekend papers had in store for us.
I am starting to worry about Generations: The Legacy. What is really going on there guys? First it was Manaka Ranaka’s accident that claimed a young lady’s life, and now it’s Rapulana Sepheimo’s one claiming 3 lives? Something is definitely not right. I mean, we are not yet over Manaka’s one, and it’s still under investigation if I am not mistaken.
I saw this headline by Sunday Independent and it took me to a whole new world considering what I had previously read. According to SI, one of the two people that were in Rapulana’s car is under heavy police guard at the hospital. They had to beef up security because he tried to escape. Bathi those two guys were unknown to Raps and are suspected to have been hijackers. Thiza!!
Sunday World spoke to Jody van Zyl, the only survivor from the other car that was involved. He lost his brother Donovan and brother in law Jerry in the accident. Jody and his family are fuming because of their loss and they want Rapulana to be charged with murder. Obviously tempers are high at the moment, it’s not easy losing someone close to you, now imagine losing 2? What seems to be angering this family is that; they feel like they are being side lined. They feel like people are focusing on Rapulana, wishing him a speedy recovery because he is a celebrity, and no one is paying attention to them and their double loss. They say no one has checked up on them, not even the Sepheimos. To be honest, for Raps’ sake I pray the reports that say he was under the influence of alcohol turn out to be untrue, and also hope that it was a hijacking for real, because if it wasn’t and it turns out he was drunk then we have another Jub Jub situation in our hands. My niece even said this one is worse than eka Jub Jub because another race is involved so it will turn into a race issue whether we like it or not. We send our condolences to the families and friends of those that lost their loved ones. One of the deceased left behind a 3year old son, this is really heart breaking. The family is also said to be asking for financial assistance to help towards the funerals.

We move on from depressing news to our daily bread. Do you remember that Metro cop, Nicholas Mahlangu that got suspended after being convicted of armed robbery? Well, ubhuti is back in the papers firing shots. He says that his boss Steve Ngobeni is bonking his wife that’s why he suspended him. His wife Joyce Mogale is also a cop. Mahlangu says he found text messages between his wife and his boss. She denies the affair and told SW; ‘How can I sleep with my boss? It doesn’t make sense.’ Hahahaha is this lady serious by asking that question? Lol

The story about a 38year old mother of two that got fired by BP because of her weight is also another disturbing one. Why did they hire her in the first place? Looking at her and the situation, she has always been a big woman, and when she went for an interview she was big so why is her weight an issue now? I don’t understand it shem. This is like that Bonang Matheba ‘manly voice’ vs Metro FM situation that was once reported. No sense at all. Sigh!
I found this interesting article about how much Mzansi artists charge to perform at a gig. The likes of Cassper are sitting on R120K excluding flights and accommodation, Zahara is from R100K, Kelly Khumalo starts at R35K, KO is at R70K. Looks like Jazz artists are the most expensive. Look at Bra Hugh and Ntate Ray? They don’t come cheap. Artists surely do make money mos? Imagine getting paid R15K+ a day? They say these fees depend on a lot of things about the event, where it’s held, how many people, is it in or out doors etc….
Still on artists, legendary Don Laka posted this on his FB page and it’s shocking. R3K bandla? We have a long way to go. That’s why artists die poor hle.
Eugene Mthethwa also had something to add to Mr Laka’s statement. This seems to be a serious problem.
Nango ke uItumeleng Khune uqalile njalo. SS says Sbahle Mpisane has shown Itu the door after she found out that she was not the only girl in his life. Bathi Itu is putting up an act on social media by posting Sbahle’s pictures, he is acting like all is well when it’s not. Hehehehe what’s new here though? Didn’t we go through this with Mineleng? We continue with Diski relationships. Andile Jali and Nonhle Ndala have taken over from where Sfiso Ncwane and Ayanda left off shem. Apparently, Andile’s dad’s fridge is empty. The neighbours and relatives are upset with Nonhle as they believe that she is the cause of this. They say Nonhle also lied in a magazine about having a good relationship with her mother in law when she actually doesn’t. Andile used to make time to visit his dad but ever since Nonhle came into the picture he has stopped. TJO!
Love is in the air for former Muvhango star Simphiwe Ngema aka Thuli and Pallance Dhladla. If you think back, Simphiwe was in a relationship with Rhythm City’s Dumi Masilela aka Sfiso not so long ago. Now SS says it’s over between them and Simphiwe is living it up with Pallance. Lol, that time Pallance used to be ‘friends’ with Dumi. Simphiwe denied knowing Pallance like that, she says to her uPallance is a celebrity, she has never met him. Tlttltltl
Not so long ago I was bowing down and saluting Rhythm City for giving Melusi Yeni a job…..now I don’t know what to say. Do we need a cow, a goat, a sheep or a white chicken for Melusi? This can’t be life. I am so disappointed in him. What is the root of the problem vele? He is obviously drowning his sorrows.
I see Atandwa is still at it. Kante didn’t they say Tembisa had dismissed those results and more tests were gonna be done? What happened? Does this mean the first results were correct? Anyway, Fiks is Mrs Kani now so surely they will be lil Kanis running around soon.
