Travelling across the country with the talented judges to meet and interact with dancers has been a wonderful experience. I am embracing the world of dance wholeheartedly, and our viewers have some amazing entertainment in store for them,” says excited Sinazo.
The are also changes to the judging panel…

How the show works
- The first 3 shows will capture the excitement of the regional auditions.
- Every Saturday evening will see eight dance couples (16 contestants) compete in a variety of dance styles – ballroom; ballet; salsa; hip-hop – and viewers will be given an opportunity to vote via sms for their favourite dancers.
- The Result Show will broadcast every Monday at 19h00 – starting on the 23rd September 2013. The voting results will see the elimination of 2 dancers (1 male & 1 female) every week by the judging panel.
- The top 4 will compete in pairs as well as individually until the winner is chosen – to walk away with the title and the grand prize.
So You Think You Can Dance is on every Saturday at 18h30 on SABC 1.
