For some reason ndidiniwe zii-Idols, maybe it’s because my ultimate favourite contestants Lucia, Valentine AND Luke have been eliminated from the competition *sigh* or maybe it’ s because I foresee whom the country is planning a win for this season. Anyways, it’s not about me and my sad self the show goes on…
Last Sunday we saw the husky voices Lucia being voted out of the Top 4 which made her miss out on the trip to New York and her dreams of winning the competition were shattered.
With so much uncertainty going on like Zuma still seated as president and Trump being president I wondered whom is SA voters going to make a winner.
Is it Noma?
The twenty two year old has a bright future as a teacher and an opportunity to start out as a singer. However, I don’t think she will do well on her own without winning Idols because she lacks tons and tons of that HLAUDI thing. She is also easily forget-able, she is a pretty girl and can sing really well but does not have the Idol look in my eyes. Not a winner in my eyes, but voters might shock me.
Tebogo Louw?
Like the one blogger said Tebogo can sing and all maar uyabhora. I agree. I like him a lot but he is one of those not likeable people. I blame his aura. We have established he has a good voice, a boring aura, the Idol look and feel so it’s up to the voters to choose.
For the longest time I felt Terra should win this based on his AMAZING vocals but after those three really horrible performances I don’t see him winning. I feel he will disappoint himself more than his fans… should he win. The best voice, looks are passable.
Thami is most likely to win based on him fan base even though he is not vocally versatile. I also feel he will disappoint his fans should his sexuality (or preference) be put to the test, I also feel he will crash under pressure. However , he has the look, feel and fan base my only worry is voice limitations.
Who do you think is likely to take Season 12 of SA Idols home with them?
