in 2013 Club Med introduced stop over packages that combine A City visit with their luxury holidays, meaning their customers have the option to visit cities like Hong Kong, Bangkok, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Istanbul and New York as part of their holiday to Club Med resorts in China, Thailand, Maldives, Turkey, Mexico and the Caribbean.
Read about the Stop Overs HERE.

So here’s all about my trip…
20 – 23 March – Hong Kong
I have never been to Hong Kong, nor have I ever thought of going there so I’m really excited about this part of the trip! The kid in me is hoping my friend and I will get to go to Hong Kong Disneyland, which is the third outside of the USA and first in China. I’m looking forward to the Bruce Lee exhibition, I loved that guy! And hopefully I’ll run into Jackie Chan and tell him we are missing him.
When you are at the stopover city, Club Med covers your hotel/breakfast and the rest is on your account. Not bad, R1 gets you 1.63 Hong Kong dollar, I hear it’s a great place to shop.
I run into Jackie Chan hle…
23 – 31st March Bali, Indonesia
Honestly, when I heard “Bali”… all I thought of was lying on the Beach, reading a book! And for at least one of the 7 days there, I plan to do just that! And I have a few packed already!
Beautiful as that top beach picture is, I also heard that Bali has black sand beaches! I would love to visit one of those…
A visit to their famous temples is also on my priority list…
Interesting facts I read about Bali and its people:
- Prior to turning three months old, Balinese babies are carried everywhere. They’re not allowed to touch the ground until they’ve reached the three month mark.
- The Balinese usually have one of the following four names: Wayan, Made, Nyoman or Ketut. They simply mean First born, Second born, Third born and Fourth born and it doesn’t matter if the child is a boy or a girl!
LOL at the last one.
I will be tweeting/instagramíng about the trip so to stay posted be sure to follow @MsLeloB on both platforms. Otherwise, I’ll report back here with lotsa pics when I return!
P.S. You can book your December holiday now and pay in monthly instalments till then.. ClubMed has this option!
Audacioustoni will be in charge while I’m away. Pleaae be kind to him
