Last Thursday Oude Meester hosted us at The Wanderers Building in Bryanston, to reveal their new face(s) for the Oude Meester Mastery in the Making ad campaign. As some of you may know Jamie Foxx was the previous face but ke manje out with the old, and in with the tall, handsome, dark-chocolate Idris Elba as the new man, along with Siyabonga “Xolani wa Rubirizer on Generations” Radebe as his sideman.
We got to see the new tv ad and its “behind the scenes” footage. Sadly Idris was not there in person, but Siyabonga was present, pleasant and very happy to have been chosen to partake in the ad.
Looking at some of the still, most guys will probably be happy that Idris is an actor and not a urologist #Big Finger Syndrome.
The event started a bit late, giving us plenty of time to get drunk in love with Oude Meester cocktails. The brandy is so smooth, totally fooled me, thinking it’s a whisky. Very soothing on the palate, and no babalaas in the morning. Maybe I’m a pro, asazi…lol.

Tsholo
• Khanyi killed the crop-top but there is something about her that screams #I’m Unhappy! I could be wrong hey. She was there with the Lerole entourage as usual, Vusi Nova included.
• Weza Solonge, who died and left you the sash to be Ms Perfect? Ms I know it all? Ms Opulence? Hair-Air SANA tone it down! That Ms Prim & Proper look wasn’t made for you *hugs*
• The Lehasa Moloi & wifie look so sweet together, they are carrying the pregnancy well…I am certain the baby will be too gorgeous for words.
· Talking of babies, you probably all know by now that the beautiful Lala Hiriyama and the somewhat sexy Chris are not with child. She posed in all angles for Picay to squash the rumours… She says her “Mommy to be” caption on Instagram was just her welcoming her new puppy to the family*Rolls Eyes*
· Zalebs & former Generations star Carmel Fisher looked hella sexy in a 4-fingers above the knee black number. Loved the fresh hairstyle too!
· Nolly and some hot young man…hmmm mbambe closer girl, this is Jozi, full of sharks and vultures.
· Mpho Lerole, Thato, sweet Ayanda and her sexy man Tebogo.
• Tamara Dey: Take those shackles off your feet girl…aren’t they hurting *cues for Mary-Mary*
· The beautiful Thembi “I drink from the fountain of youth” Seete was there as well, posing here with Kgosi, the guy that rocked that frock better than that white chick at the SAMAs last year…lol.
· The Muffins were the main musical act for the night. They did a stellar job before jetting off to Cape Town for the jazz festival.
