The best of Africa were in South Africa this past weekend for the Channel O Music Video Awards, which took place in Soweto on Saturday. You know why I missed the show… won’t get into it. Disappointed that some of these red carpet pictures don’t really show the red carpet outfits, but my friend Dee managed to snap a few that actually do, so let’s check out some of the people and the outfits worn to the event.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I recorded the Channel O Awards, but all I could watch was the P Square performance, OMG!!!!! I hope people now understand why I am SO crazy about these boys… I can’t believe no one is bringing them to SA for a show. Like I know they are expensive and all… I heard they take nothing less than R400K for a club appearance, but seriously, if we can pay R890 for Chris Brown, we can pay the same for P Square. Forget the many South Africans who love them, there are also lots of Nigerians and other fellow African bros/sisters here… I believe a P Square concert would sell out. But not one wants to do it…*sigh*

Mafikizolo won Most Gifted Dance Video for Khona… which is making waves all over Africa. They’ve been to Nigeria twice in the last 2 weeks and you know Nigerians PAY! So trust me Mafikizolo is making a killing with this album! Awesomery!
